I find it difficult to choose a favourite baseball team. Since I’ve been into baseball, I’ve followed the Red Sox but I really enjoy watching the Cleveland Indians and the NY Yankees… there’s not really a baseball scene in England so I haven’t been brought up with a team, and have to catch games when I can on ESPN America.

I don’t know who my favourite is but I really want just ONE team to favour. Who to choose?!

The NY Mets!! They suck but they are still the team I follow.

this is the most ridiculous thing ever. people need to CHILL OUT. regardless, we’re raising money to save lives one way or the other. CALM DOWN, PEOPLE.

Why the fuck did you reblog this? Just to shame? Do you feel better now?
I’m sorry I freaked out and that I give a flying fuck that an organization I used to give money to, spend time raising money for, and vocally support (even if I had given that up a few years ago) totally and completely threw potential cancer victims under a bus to acquiesce to anti-choice assholes.
I’m sorry that I completely overreacted as someone who lost a sister-in-law and has watched my mother, stepmother, and mother-in-law fight breast cancer, I take it personally when one of the largest supposed advocates of breast cancer prevention shows their true colors, which is that they don’t really care that much.
It’s not “one way or another.” Barely 30% of what Komen raises goes to research, patient care, and prevention. Most of it goes back into the organization. They use breast cancer to sell themselves. They sue people who hold bake sales and say “for the cure.” They fight against laws that would provide medical care through the government because they don’t want their own power as a charity diminished, even if those laws would benefit cancer patients. There are MUCH better places to put your money (like…uhm…Planned Parenthood) that will go much further. Plus, you don’t have to exploit breast cancer and people who suffer from it/die from it in order to do so.
This is all to say, GET OUT OF MY FACE.

FUCK YEAH COMMENTARY

The GOP’s definition of a failed presidency:
Killed Osama Bin Laden
Saved the American auto industry
Had 16-straight months of economic growth
Ended the Iraq war & started brining troops home from Afghanistan
Repealed Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell
Passed Affordable Healthcare Act
Passed Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act for women
Began regulating Wall St.
Appointed 2 women, one of which is Latino, to the Supreme Court
Passed Student loan reform
Helped overthrow Gadaffi without a single US soldier dying
Cut taxes for 95% of working families
But yeah, what a failure. Too bad we can’t bring back Bush… *sarcasm*

They’re only setting up an impossible standard for success for them…

The disturbing part is that liberals/progressives fall into this whole what-have-you-done-for-me-lately thing too. Like, yes, I realise he’s not the ideal, but the country isn’t even going to get back to normal in four years, and we all know it never was going to.

But… but… he still hasn’t closed a facility that has miles and miles of red tape and failed policies preventing its closing. Clearly he is a failure for not doing whatever he wants without caring about the consequences.
